Week In Review – 365 Days Project: 83-89

The weeks fly by so quickly when I see the progress on our 365 Days Project. I can’t believe that we’re already in the 80s.

This past week was spent in Livingston, Guatemala, into San Ignacio, Belize, and into Chetumal and Tulum, Mexico. I can’t remember the last time we have moved so quickly! I’m glad to have the memories documented because after spending 20 hours on buses and boats this past week, it is easy to forget what happened.

So here we go!

  1. Yay, Tulum! My boyfriend and I were there earlier this year (in early March), and I fell in love with it. We stayed in the pueblo. Our favorite food on our trip was at Tacoqueto – a small place at the south end of town (near the Subway). On the beach, we liked El Tabano, but it was a splurge. Have fun!!!

  2. We stayed in the pueblo also. I’ve only done a resort once – and while it is a lovely experience, I rather like living more locally. Was Tacoqueto across the street-ish from Subway?

  3. Yep! Across the street on the same side of the road. Red roof, if I remember correctly. I’m with you on resorts – can be lovely but not my thing either!

  4. I can’t tell you how many times we have eaten there over the past couple of years. I would definitely place it 10+ times. I LOVE IT. OMG.
