Another thing conquered in my Adventure Girl series – we freaking ROCKED at white water rafting in Ecuador. I wasn’t scared for a moment (adrenaline talking?) and had complete faith that our team would do our best.
The water was intense, bumpy and kept splashing in my face but I had a grin plastered to my face the entire time. Most of all, I wasn’t scared. White water rafting in Ecuador was everything I could have imagined and more.
I fall in love with this great country more and more every day. What else do you have to discover? BRING IT!
Oh, and have I said how much I love our Go Pro?
man oh man does that look like fun!
White water rafting is SOOO fun, isn’t it?? It looks like you had a blast.
@Dad: Yeah it is! I can’t believe it took me so long to finally experience it!
@Amanda: It was probably my favorite experience in Banos! I thought I would be scared but the adrenaline kept me going. Even though my arms felt like they were going to fall off, my body just kept going. Now I want MORE!
I have gone white water rafting a couple of times. Awesome time but also a bit scary. I feel like I Have tempted fate enough and am done for now. You guys sound like you’re up for anything!
No. Way. Amazing video!!! You all keep doing things I don’t think I could/would do, so thanks for letting me live vicariously!
We’ve had our GoPro for a little over two years now, and while I do LOVE it for things like outdoor adventures, I really wish it worked better indoors and in low-light situations.
How FUN. I love white water rafting and this was obviously a great place to go. And camera envy! Your video is fantastic!
@Stephanie: I think I’m done with the adrenaline thing for a while. I have nothing else on my plate besides skydiving which I’m pushing off for a bit. We are up for anything (for the most part) but good lord, it does take me a while to warm up to things.
@D: Thank you lady! We are seriously loving our Go Pro (even though now we wished we would have bought the more professional one). Glad people are digging it.
@C&C: Yeah, the low light stuff is really depressing. We tried to get some salsa dancing footage inside a club and most of it was trash.
@Margo: I had heard so many good things about how good the rafting was in Ecuador and I can say without a doubt that it did not disappoint! Thank you for your kind words. I’m glad our work is being appreciated!
I’m so excited to go! Just wanted you to know I mentioned you in my blog. 🙂 http://www.notquitewonderwoman.com/homeschool-the-education-of-travel-ecuador-post-2/
Thanks April!
