Exposure: Feeling Like a Zombie

One of the things about my 365 days project that I love so much is that I can look back at my thoughts and feelings that were recorded during the period of the year.

The following “journal” entry was written for my “zombie” day. How incredibly telling it was in regards to my emotional state before leaving on our trip in 2011. (I didn’t even HAVE Over Yonderlust in 2009, nor did it cross my mind to take a career break at this time.)

“Been feeling like a zombie lately. I really hate working because it pays the bills. I need to take some initiative and try to get a job where I work with the community.

Get up. Work. 365days. Sleep. Rinse. Repeat.

Just looking forward to the days where my husband and I can travel abroad. Its what helps me get up in the morning.”
