Looking to Future Travel: Trips of the Year

The next year holds so many possibilities when it comes to potential future travel opportunities. Now all we need to do is win the lottery to make everything we want to happen – happen right now.

As many of you know, Shaun and I are currently back at home here in Austin, Texas. While we love our hometown, we would rather be somewhere exotic, experiencing new things, people, and food. We are in budget mode – serious budget mode. To really plan for the next leg of our Over Yonderlust trip we are going to need to get down to planning!

After TBEX in June I’m planning on heading out on a week and half long road trip from Colorado to Maryland – a route I’ve never done before – with a good girlie friend of mine. No boys allowed (but really it is just that Shaun has to return to work. Someone has to bring home the bacon!). Think Thelma and Louise but with less guns, more cowboy hats, and music blasting out of a Prius (I’d rather their convertible but can’t complain).

One of the things I was eternally grateful for was finding Promo Codes for Southwest Airlines to help me book my flight home from Washington DC. Luckily it is one of their major hubs and was able to use ol’ trusty Southwest Airlines. …Now to break the news to Shaun that he is picking me up at midnight. *cough*

Moving on to August/September, we are looking to experience Iceland (for the first time) and Europe. We plan on taking them by storm. No, we haven’t bought tickets yet and yes, I know that buying them is your commitment to going. Being as we just got back from a year long stint in Central and South America, we are kind of broke right now. We’re hoping to find some Coupon Code for Expedia to help us get where we need to go (and back!).

Wish us luck. We should be back by mid-November in which we will be making a HUGE decision. Do we go to Japan to teach? Do we stay in town? Do I focus on my photography? Do I become a rollerderby girl?

Hopefully we will get the opportunity to never come home.
