We found ourselves in the awesome dusty town of Puerto Viejo during our last rendezvous with Costa Rica.
This entire town was founded on tourism and Iβm happy to say that it isnβt quite oversaturated… yet. See it while you can. A bit of a Caribbean vibe mixed with the Costa Rican βpura vidaβ will make you stay there much longer than anticipated. 5 days later we managed to escape. There have just been too many places recently where I miss a week of my life… in a good way.
Ahhh PUERTO VIEJO…. my 1st beach town on my RTW trip & I loved it… such a great amazing vibe with actual pretty beaches.
Good memories π Oh we have to go out & dance again when we meet up, Jaime!! Puerto Viejo with you was great.
@Jaime: I’m sure you got into a hell of a lot of trouble… it is easy to do there.
Fun, love the last few shots maybe is the vintage color tint so unique.
Tell me you stayed at Rockin’ Jays? That place was so awesome when we were there.
@Sarah: Thank you for noticing! The town was a little dusty so I thought I would add a bit of spice. π
@Drew: That is what we keep hearing – sadly we did not. We were in a really low key cabana.
It’s overcast and rainy here today and these photos make me wish I was there at the beach!
Ahh, this place looks like a gem! π And I like that geometric art piece!
@Laura: I’m sorry! You should get away again ASAP!
@Audrey: The art piece definitely caught my eye while walking around. It captures the city so well!
