We hiked through small roads and dirt patches in Bataan, Costa Rica to find a small creek to spend our afternoon in (beer in tow). I felt like Indiana Jones, alone in the wilderness, only a few stray dogs following us. But before the washed out bridge, we found this decayed beauty on the side of the road. Thank you Kim and Barry from @hovlandphoto for showing us this magical place.
I’ll always remember this side of Costa Rica in my heart. It is so different than the rest.

@APT: Thank you! *blush* I’m a VW fanatic too so I had to jump at the chance. Costa Rica was phenomenal and I loved it more than I thought I would. We had to drag ourselves out for fear of spending all our money there. It is a bit expensive!
Isn’t that everywhere you visit? lol I seem to have the same problem…darn these exotic locations. Either way, it was worth it for the great shot!
