I failed a bit last week when it came to the “Week in Review” for our 365 days project so I’m playing catch up and doing TWO weeks in ONE! Lucky you!
It is really weird to think that, a week and a half ago, Shaun and I were on the beach in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. So much has happened in the past week – getting settled back in Austin, setting up photography gigs, being whisked away on a girls weekend in Plano (which I just got back from today). Shaun and I have been really thinking about where we want to be over the next few years and it has been surprising what we have decided our priorities are at this point in the game (more on that later). But most of all, it’s interesting to see it in context of our life via the 365 days project. When you look back, you remember the stories, the feelings, and your one day in that one year becomes immortalized.
…but enough on that hippy dippy thinking awesomeness….
I bring you the past two weeks! I’ve been getting really amazing feedback from you and it inspires me to keep on going.
Thank you.
97/365 We have mad sandcastle skills. #Mexico #rivieramaya #365days
98/365 Today is brought to you by diving in #Cozumel. Apparently my regulator is too big and I look like Dory. #365days
99/365 Last night in #Mexico and we don’t want to leave! Going to miss all the cheap Mexican Cokes and tacos (among a million other things). #365days
100/365 Happy 100th day of our #365days Project! Funny that we came home today as another milestone. Here we are on Skylink. I have no clue how many times we have found ourselves at DFW lately. A huge thanks and big hugs to everyone who has followed along
101/365 At the craft store to pick up some goodies for our costumes for Flipside, Austin’s regional #BurningMan. #365days
102/365 A sneak peek into our #Flipside headpieces (#BurningMan regional). All hand made my moi. #365days
103/365 What do old married couples do when broke on a Saturday night? Wrestle. Thumb wrestle. #365days
104/365 Perfect 70 degree weather makes for a fantastic day to walk the dogs and have a picnic! #365days
105/365 I got my anniversary/birthday/Christmakkah/business expense present in the mail today! #365days Here is to hoping for more photog work! Cheers!
106/365 Went old school with Peter Pan Mini Golf. We had a gazillion dates here as teens. We also save the scores for yearly bragging rights. I won front 9. Shaun won back. I won overall. #365days #win
107/365 Shaun and I have done more travel apart during the last year than we had in our entire 14 year relationship. I’m in DFW and Shaun is in Austin. While we miss each other, it is nice to have your own time. #365days
108/365 Skype date with handsome hubby after long day in Plano. Love it! #365days
109/365 I’m loving the creativity that flows while we are apart. I’m ready to go home tomorrow from Plano. Need hubby time. #365days

Thanks Naomi! I’m a little embarrassed to admit how long it took for us to get that picture!

We’re definitely trying. I love looking back on a year. It is surprising how much you remember.
