During our hermitage in Phoenix, Arizona, there were times of distress, sadness, and confusion as we started settling back in as American citizens.
I’m not sure if I told you how we met our friends Nena and Shane of Phoenix, Arizona. 7 or 8 years ago Shaun and I met Nena while playing World of Warcraft. Our friendship bloomed into the awesomeness it is now and we visit each other at least once as year.
So when we were down our friends would show us all the “wonderful” memes and hilarity we missed while being out of the country for the past year. We already had no clue what was playing on the radio or in the movie theatres – so they brought us up to speed in the internet kingdom.
So what best to cheer yourself up when you’re bored out of your gourd than to participate in one of the ones we found most fascinating: Breading Cats.
And while we were at it, why not have a kitty fashion show?
Oh yes. I think we were laughing so hard we went into crying fits.
It isn’t every day where I can deal with the stupidity of the interwebz but oh man, I have to hand it to you – placing things on cats (which I already don’t like if you read about what I did to Leigh’s cats in Salta) was one of the most amazing things I’ve done to harass pets.
What does this have to do with travel?
I don’t know. But it shows you the state of our brains as we returned home.
Haha, I love it! That’s one of the things I keep thinking about…all the random pop culture I’m missing this year! I only vaguely know of a handful of TV show and movie names. And though I know none of it matters, I feel like I’m missing so much!
Damn. I really thought this post would do better. Regardless I’m glad you enjoyed. 😛
This is hilarious! First thing I saw was the cat’s face in the bread, and I was a bit surprised until I read the stuff above it. Funny pics!
I feel like I’m missing pop culture stuff living in Germany, but then I didn’t keep up with much of it when I was living in the US anyway.
haha funny as. The cat doesn’t look impressed at all though! Just like ours at Christmas when we wrapped him up in Christmas themed scarf and tried to put him in the tree!
The pop culture in the States isn’t really something to lament about missing to be honest. I was a bit baffled about a few things when we got home.
Katherine, the cat was a little mad at us. There were 3 of them and 2 of them didn’t mind nearly as much as the one with the death stare.
When all else fails.. cats to the rescue! 😀
Damn skippy.
oh.my.god. I LOVE this! Too cute.
