A Lack of Hobbits in Middle Earth, Ecuador
We stepped off the bus into unfamiliar territory as a cloud of smoke and dust plumed around us and the bus lurched away. Ominous clouds formed overhead (attributing to our rain curse of course) and Shaun and I looked around curiously. So this is what “Middle Earth” looks like. Episode 16 – Momentos: Colombia
We’re making this week a video week (we’re making up for lost time due to our stolen camera)! We finally left Colombia after spending 6 glorious weeks there (and had only intended on 2). Since we got our replacement camera in Bogota, we are missing quite a bit of our adventures in Colombia but I hope you enjoy the bit we do have!

After wandering the streets of Banos, Ecuador looking for a decent wifi connection, we finally bring you Episode 15 – one I’m so proud of and I’m stoked to show you. Somehow when I think of Medellin, Colombia, I don’t think of bands playing old timey, ragtime music that I find myself attracted to when I’m in Austin, Texas.
