Episode 4 – Misol Ha and Agua Azul

Over the next two weeks (we will be internet-less for the next two for those who are savvy on what is going on) we will be posting a few of our videos while gone. If you could give us some comment love on what you would like to see in the future with our episodes, it would be much appreciated.

…and since we have traveled with him for so long, Jaime makes another appearance in one of our videos at Agua Azul – this time in video glory.

I apologize in advance for the audio as we are still trying to perfect the art of on the road videos on our Flip. 😛 Enjoy our amazing time at Agua Azul and Misol Ha.

  1. @Joshy: There are 3 vids (including this one) coming out in 2 weeks so no worries, I’m sure you will be vided out by the end. Working on making them a little less sketchy! (P.S., I moved to iMovie because FCP was killing my poor, old comp.)

  2. Love the colour of the water! It looks like you guys had a lot of fun, although I know from experience of swimming in waterfalls, it’s always FREEZING!

  3. OMG I FUCKING LOVE THE VIDEO!!! I CANNOT STOP LAUGHING!!! Ahhh good fucking times~ I’m gonna miss y’all so much when we say good bye I mean see you later!!!

  4. Good work on the video. It takes me so long to edit the ones I have been experimenting with that I know that there is a lot of effort in these! Will be good to see the next episode.

  5. Wow, 2 months on the road now according to your ticker on the top left of this page. Not sure where you are going when your off the radar but enjoy.

  6. Looks like fun times! I wouldn’t have swum in the contaminated water either…!! Love Jamie’s cameo 😀

  7. @Jaime: GOOD! I was starting to be concerned at what you thought about some of the things I included. 😛

  8. @Adam: It kills me that it takes such a long time – especially since I can be a perfectionist. I’ve learned that when trying to do these quickly on the road, you have to let go.

  9. @Kevin: Unlike you, I was brought up in the desert where no one owned a pool so I’m still catching up on the swimming technique okay? 😛

  10. @Megan: I wanted to get in so badly since it was so freaking hot outside. Apparently there is a town above stream that links its sewage pipes directly into the river. Oh, and Jaime is a blast to travel with!

  11. Misol-Ha is contaminated? I diodn’t know that! What a shame, as I was also planing on taking the leap as I might be going there soon… cool vi!

  12. that place looks beautiful and you guys are adorable 🙂 good work on the video too.. I’m starting to do some of that w/ a flip and well.. there seems to be a bit of a learning curve w/making the whole thing come together 🙂

  13. Awesome video guys! looks like you had a great time
I really liked the use of audio throughout the whole thing too 🙂

  14. @Fede: Yeah – well, you know how Mexico works. It won’t get much publicity unless something horrible happens. Regardless, it was still beautiful! (Or you can always take the risk!)

  15. @Mica: Thank you! We’re still trying to figure out the video thing. It is definitely a sink of swim thing. Trying to get faster with my editing.

  16. @Lindsay: A) Thank you? B) I’m working on it! They require a bit of memory and stuffs and take hours to upload so I’m trying to figure a few things out. <3

  17. @Margo: <3 I'm glad I went to college to learn editing stuff - so a LOT of it is super easy for me. Best of luck on your vids!
