Two years ago I became obsessed with roller derby. Not only did I become inspired (and am now kinda training to be IN the TXRD league in Austin), but I became Scarica/Skarika/Scare-ica, the TXRD rollerderby referee. This picture not only changed my life but lead to my first modeling gig – being PAID to be a model for Getty Images (big head ensuing).
