I love love love bucket lists!! Thank you for reminding me that I forgot to include being in India for Holi on my list — I knew I was forgetting a few things!!
And I think the NYE abroad is one that keep going and going… 🙂
Wooow… Massive list!! Love it Love it!! 🙂 ‘See Shaun’s pale skin get color’ this one is funny. haha
Didn’t know your profile pic is taken from Stonehenge. Cool 🙂
Hope you can conquer all that!
@Heather: I figure that if my camera can survive Burning Man, it can probably survive Holi. The colors are just phenomenal. Shaun and I were supposed to be abroad this year for NYE but do to us pushing back our leave date, that is not going to happen… however, I’m wondering where we will be next year.
@Juno: Thank you Juno! ♥ But seriously, Shaun is so pasty he just stays the same color and just gets tons of freckles that cover his body. I’m wondering what he will look like when he starts surfing. If we can even get halfway through the list I will be happy.
Awesome list! I’m gonna have to refer to this in the future for ideas!
great list, every time i try writing one i dont go past 10
What a great list, I keep procrastinating because I don’t know if I could keep it to only 100 things!
Come visit us in NYC! 🙂 Your list is great!
Awesome list! As I read through I was mentally adding some of these to my own that I’ve yet to write! Thanks for the motivation, I am excited to watch you start checking more of these off!!
Bucket lists rule! This just serves as another reminder to get off our lazy butts and hurry up and write ours!
@Poi: Shaun and I have rather ADD minds so we wish we could be everywhere at once experiencing everything!
@Zablon: It took us a few days to fill it to 100. I wanted the full effect!
@Ayngelina: I had been meaning to make a list but kept putting it off for some reason. I started slowing down once I hit 85.
@Terri: If we had the funds we would be there in a heartbeat.
@Annie: I hope I can keep up with checking these off! Once we hit Central/South America, many of our goals will be achieved. <3
@Kieron: I’ve enjoyed reading everyone else’s lists – I’m afraid that if I read any more my list will get even longer!
what a great list, i could cross a few off that list and i think i am inspired to make one for myself!
I love your bucket list. You have totally inspired me to make my own. woohoo! 🙂 Well done, you guys are definitely making progress.. arrrgh.. i dare not look at mine even ! LOL
@Greg: Thank you! You should go and make one – it definitely gets you in an adventurous mood!
@Ciki: DO EET! After we go backpacking through Central/South America, we should be able to mark a substantial amount off our list. It would be weird if we actually did everything. :X
Great list; although I think I could do without the guinea pig and crickets! Relieved that I’ve done some of these (#10, 17, 23, 31, 49, 57, 72, and 81), but bummed that I haven’t done more.
The top of my bucket list? Seeing the world’s largest ball of twine in Kansas. Seriously! On our blog we chronicle what happens when my small-town family visits the ‘world’s largest’…whatever !
@Traci: OMG I love the world’s largest [insert word here] things! I wanted to see the ball of twine so badly! How fun!
What a great list! You should definitely eat a hot dog in Chicago! 🙂 Zorbing and La Tomatina seem to be on a lot of lists (including mine!) Someone should organize a travel blogger outing!
@Val: A travel blogger outing like that sounds amazing (but might break my bank)! <3 I was in Chicago filming a short film a few years back and unfortunately was unable to take a moment to go and get a hot dog. :(
I haven’t make a bucket list. I should though. I love the way you make 100 list so you can keep track of what has been done and what is your next goal. It’s inspirational and motivational. A lot of your item are some of the stuff I want to do. For example go to to Machu Picchu and costa rica.
@Sarah: This was my first bucket list. I had a list in my mind but had never really seen it in front of my face before. When we’re in Costa Rica you should come and visit us. 😛
Wow, 1st list? You did great putting them together. Yes I hope to meet you someday, not just only in Costa Rica. 🙂
@Sarah: The list took me several days and many beers to think of that many things. I would love to hang out with you lady!
Love your BL!!! I think it’s so important to have one. Isn’t it so much fun when you can cross something off? 🙂
WOW Erica, That’s well on the way to matching John’s list. I love your number 52 ‘Eat a Guinea Pig in Ecuador’. I can tell you from experience, it tastes just like chicken…..lol. I can also tell by your many post’s over the past few months, that you have a real thirst for adventure and the unknown, and I believe 100% you will achieve your 100 items. It’s a great list, and I love the quirkyness of some of the items (eg number 52), and it’s just not full of the usual suspects when people create a list like this. If I can add one more and make it 101. You should include as your last item ‘101.) Remain Fit and Healthy to Allow Me To Achieve and Enjoy all Items Listed Above’. Keep living the dream…….
Great list! I’ve got many similar things on my list too. Good luck!
@Andi: Thank you! I’m totally looking forward to crossing things off our list!
Jason: I think you may have landed the “longest comment” award (which I’m honored to give you :D). Thank you so much support. This comment means the world to me. It is funny because the guinea pig thing is actually what sparked this damn trip. We were watching No Reservations when tony was in Ecuador. I realized there were too many countries, locations, and adventures I wanted to do in C/S America so I asked Shaun if he would be interested in seeing it all! lol I love your 101. I think I’ll add it. It is lovely.
@Rebecca: Thanks! There are so many things all of us have in common – so much of the world to see, so little time!
what a great list! absolutely love seeing those you’ve checked off! excited for you guys and looking forward to reading as you check off the rest. maybe we can meetup in egypt or india!
@Lorna: It would be amazing to meet up anywhere! But yes, Egypt and India sounds phenomenal. If it is possible, lets make a deal!
